About Christian

27-year-old Christian McCaffrey is a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Stanford, and was drafted by the Panthers with the eighth overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. As a sophomore in 2015, McCaffrey was the AP College Football Player of the Year and the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy. He holds the NCAA record for most all-purpose yards in a season with 3,864. Two-time NFL All-Pro McCaffrey holds numerous NFL and Carolina Panthers franchise records and is a member of the 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in a season club. In 2019, he led the NFL in all-purpose yards.

In 2022, he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers where he became the first 49ers running back, and fourth player in NFL history, to record passing, rushing, and receiving touchdowns in the same game.

The Christian McCaffrey Foundation was founded and moves forward with gratitude for the power of community. From the earliest stages of launching his Foundation, Christian was moved by the response to his initial efforts to rally support -- first for healthcare heroes in the Carolinas in the midst of a pandemic, and later for underserved youth and law enforcement mentors coming together on the field of play. Christian and his Foundation seek to foster this energy and continue supporting communities and people who stand up and come together to meet a need.
