The Christian McCaffrey Foundation announces second Logan Bowl event

Christian McCaffrey will be hosting the second annual bracket-style EA SPORTS™ Madden NFL 24 tournament on Friday, May 3, 2024, streaming online, featuring players from eight NFL teams. The Logan Project’ honors Logan Hale—a Christian McCaffrey fan who lost his battle with childhood cancer in late 2021.

The goal of the Logan Bowl is to raise funds to get ‘The Logan Project’ into a children’s hospital in every NFL city. As a result of the 2023 Logan Bowl, McCaffrey and fellow NFL players successfully raised over $150,000 USD and provided gaming consoles to six new cities across the nation, from San Francisco, California to Morristown, New Jersey.

Last year, a bunch of my NFL friends joined me for the first-ever Logan Bowl, and together we were able to raise more than $150,000 and provide gaming consoles to children’s hospitals across the country. I’m excited to announce that we’ll be doing it again this year, with new players and guests, and I’m confident that we can create an even bigger impact in honor of Logan Hale.
— Christian McCaffrey

In addition to McCaffrey, who will be co-hosting the event alongside three-time Pro Bowler and NFL analyst Greg Olsen, the following NFL players, will be involved: Saquon Barkley (Philadelphia Eagles), Austin Ekeler (DC Commanders), Mike Evans (Tampa Bay Buccaneers), Bijan Robinson (Atlanta Falcons), Denzel Ward (Cleveland Browns), Adam Thielen (Carolina Panthers), Hollywood Brown (Kansas City Chiefs), Marcus Williams (Baltimore Ravens), Aidan Hutchinson (Detroit Lions), and more. The number one global gaming platform serving gamers, publishers, and brands, eFuse, will be producing the event.

All NFL players involved will receive the launch of the The Logan Project at a children’s hospital in their town, and the winner of the event will not only receive bragging rights but also The Logan Bowl trophy—a gold plated remote that will travel to the community of the winner of The Logan Bowl. The winner of the inaugural Logan Bowl in June 2023 was San Francisco 49ers’ linebacker, Fred Warner. The Logan Bowl is one of many efforts from the foundation to expand upon their effort to place specialized gaming consoles in children’s hospitals around the nation, supporting children undergoing treatment.

I am excited to participate in this tournament and for the chance to support my guy Christian. It’s an honor to join this crew to help fulfill Logan’s legacy, and I’m looking forward to putting up a good fight in this year’s Logan Bowl.
— Saquon Barkley
