Honoring the legacy of Carolina Panther’s superfan, Logan Preston Hale — and his dream to provide gaming kiosks to children undergoing medical treatment as a way to connect with their friends and restore a sense of normalcy.
WHAT
The Logan Project raises funds for specialized gaming consoles to be provided to children’s hospitals across the country while connecting kids with athletes they admire.
The source of inspiration for the effort is Logan Hale, a Christian McCaffrey and Carolina Panthers fan who lost his battle with childhood cancer in late 2021.
WHY
Logan’s dream was to create his own foundation to connect sick children through gaming. While Logan was in the hospital undergoing cancer treatment, he found that gaming allowed him to stay connected to his friends. The Christian McCaffrey Foundation is now dedicated to bringing Logan’s dream to life through the creation of ‘The Logan Project.’
HOW
Through the support of our donors, partners, and NFL players across the country, we have provided 77 gaming consoles (Go Karts) to 17 different U.S. children’s hospitals to-date!
But, we need your help to expand to even more locations…

About Logan Hale
(December 26, 2008 - December 30, 2021)
Logan’s love for life was evident from the moment he took his first breath. Logan’s accomplishments are vast for his short 13 years of life.
He was a black belt in Taekwondo, and also played basketball and lacrosse among other sports. Off the field, he was an accomplished actor with IMDB credits for his acting in a few independent films as well as commercials credits and shows.
One of his other passions was football. From the moment he picked a football up as 2-year-old, he never put it down. He loved his football team and all his coaches and was always ready with encouraging words for his teammates. He was a great fan of the Carolina Panthers and went to every home game, even rescheduling treatment by 1-2 days just so he could attend. In 2021, Logan received a video message from Panthers running back Christian McCaffery encouraging him to “Keep Pounding”.
One of his dreams was to donate video games consoles to the hospital so kids his age could stay connected with their friends and their treatments could be a bit less difficult.
