He recognizes the incredible commitment and sacrifice our Veterans, particularly those in the Special Operations Community, make in service to our great country, and he is endeavoring to bring the same rehabilitative care and treatment to them that professional athletes enjoy.”
Underwood added, “Christian is a better person off the field than he is on it and I'm committed to bringing my experience serving the non-profit community over 25+ years to help him achieve his goals on behalf of our remarkable heroes.”
Formerly, he was a Board Member of the Stanford Institute of Economic Policy Research, of Marquette University, the Make-A-Wish Foundation (Greater Bay Area), as well as the Silicon Valley Leadership Group. He and his family were honored by the Navy Seal Foundation receiving the “Fire in the Gut” award in 2023 for their work with Afghan refugees.
